About the Role

In this role, you will drive eCommerce B2C & B2B adoption in some of the most advanced digital healthcare markets. Your E-Commerce expertise, operational excellence, and strong cross-functional collaboration skills will boost results and elevate the customer experience, ensuring long-term success and profitable growth for the Health & Medical Business Unit in the E-Commerce landscape.

What You Will Do

Strategic Planning 

  • Plan & Develop a regional & local eCommerce Strategy in eCommece B2C & B2B for the Health & Medical category in eCommerce channel across countries from the region: Benelux, Scandinavia, Baltics & Canada 
  • Secures that E-Commerce is represented as a focus channel in business planning cycle, budget process and digital marketing plans 
  • Be the voice of the customer and secure distribution of Essity Portfolio across all online subchannels: Marketplaces, Category Specialists, ePharmacies, eCommerce B2B, Direct-to-Consumer, Social & Quick Commerce and Proprietary B2B Paltforms 
  • Map Business gaps & identify incremental business opportunities 
  • Propose Commercial Review (T&Cs review) & Pricing Corridors 

Best-in-Class Execution 

  • Own Execution at some strategic & emerging customers.  
  • Negotiate Annual Trade Terms & Joint-Business Planning  
  • Influence Existing Plans & Co-Create Joint-Business Planning at Customers owned by other stakeholders 
  • Develop our Direct-to-Consumer Platform, Improve Profitability & Increase engagement in our Proprietary B2B Platform 
  • Leads content management process and ensure e-retailer specific local shopper content requirements are defined, transferred and executred at the point of sale,  
  • Liaise Media, Digital Marketing Teams to improve & promote customer experience 
  • Manage Business Forecating: Planning, Supply, Customer Service  

Stakeholder Management & Collaboration 

  • Working with the guidance of Regional Lead to develop a robust eCommerce B2C & B2B roadmap 
  • Partner & Secure adoption of strategy & plans from the markets, across all level of internal audiences 
  • External Facing: Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Strategic online distributors 
  • Internal & External: Capacity to influence & Coordinate with local Sales & Marketing Teams to increase eCommerce Sales at distributors, not managed directly 
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams. Sales, Brand Marketing, Business Development, Customer Service, Finance, and Business Logistics to roll-out initiatives. 
  • Drives own networks and contributes to overall best practice sharing and networks 
  • Might lead, and/or coach others (including personal feedback & development) 

Business Development & Opportunity Identification 

  • Proactively identify and prioritize new business opportunities to ensure sustained growth. 

Who You Are

  • Bachelor degree (preferably in Business or Marketing) 
  • Minimum 5 years of B2B and B2C E-Commerce experience 
  • Experience working in a fast-moving international (matrix) environment is a significant advantage, with the ability to influence outcomes across different layers in the organization. 
  • Well-developed digital marketing and online merchandising skills; 
  • Team player and a quick learner, you are continuously adaptive, solutions-oriented. 
  • Open to change and drive improvements, a real self-starter with a positive mindset 
  • Excellent analytical skills to drive increased online performance – mainly by using Excel, but potentially Power BI and other BI tools. 
  • A robust and effective communicator. Fluency in English and Dutch are required. French & Swedish is an advantage.
