About the Role:
Create and propose strategies for category development to internal and external clients through the delivery and analysis of market, shopper, and user information related to our categories.

What You Will Do:

  • Propose segmentation and categorize products using NIELSEN, KANTAR, and other databases/studies for accurate information analysis.

  • Download and process product and channel information databases from platforms such as NIELSEN, IQVIA, and LOCK.

  • Identify opportunities for deeper insights and data analysis.

  • Annually develop/execute the category strategy with assigned clients using various data sources, as well as develop, track, and present results to chains/clients.

  • Analyze and identify insights to create market reports and presentations for internal and external clients.

  • Provide support in the assortment definition process (category review) for clients, aiming for profitable category development.

  • Develop planogram proposals for category displays in supermarket channels, traditional trade, and pharmacies. Support the creation and development of generic planograms.

  • Maintain fluent communication with retailers for category reviews.

  • Analyze, study, and verify the achievement of established objectives through business meetings with our clients/chains to determine future action plans.

  • Plan the category review agenda with clients to identify profitable growth opportunities in the market.

  • Act as a category advisor to retailers by proposing strategies and tactics for category development.

  • Lead, in collaboration with marketing, the execution of market studies to better understand our categories.

  • Provide support to the sales team and clients in defining assortment, facings, and pricing.

Who You Are:

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.

  • Proficient in Excel and computer systems (preferred).

  • Intermediate English.

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in Category Management.
