About the Role
Essity Professional Hygiene North America is currently recruiting for a Shift Coach (Manufacturing Supervisor) for the converting area at our manufacturing facility in Cherokee, AL.

What You Will Do

Is a role model and accountable for performance & consequence management, coaching and education within their department.
Ensure adherence to essential operational standards and procedures within the team and on the production line.
Participates in the implementation of product initiatives and projects in the line.
Ensure team’s compliance with operational standards (safety, quality, maintenance, centerlining (CL), cleaning, inspection, lubrication (CIL), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), etc).
Execute onboarding processes and facilitate continuous learning for the team.
Act as the first point of contact for managing incidents related to safety, quality, and environmental concerns, as well as handling disciplinary actions.
Optimize team resources during shifts to achieve the expected production results, ensuring efficient use of time, materials, and labor.
Who You Are
High School Diploma, Technical Degree or equivalent.
+1 year of experience in supervisory or team leadership role, with proven success in leading and motivating teams.
Relevant experience in production / manufacturing environment.
Experience in team management, including planning, task delegation, performance tracking, and providing feedback to team members.
